Ultra Fast Fibre Broadband

Reaching out for better broadband
Residents and businesses in Bothenhampton could be in line to receive improved broadband under the Government and Dorset Council funded Rural Gigabit Voucher Scheme.
Openreach has identified that eligible residents in Bothenhampton can get full fibre /ultrafast broadband installed if enough residents and businesses pledge their Rural Gigabit vouchers to them.
By pledging a voucher, residents and businesses, could see ultrafast fibre broadband, capable of up to 1Gbps, being delivered to their property.
All they have to do is to go to Openreach’s website https://www.openreach.com/connectmycommunity and input their postcode. If the postcode falls within one of these community schemes, people just need to tick a box pledging their voucher and agreeing to the terms and conditions – to take a 12 month fibre contract for either 30 Mbs or double speed if greater. Full details can be found here.
Openreach is also direct mailing a postcard to eligible residents in each area, inviting them to pledge at the site.
